Safety Assessment Program Training by the California Emergency Management Agency

This seminar will provide orientation, training and certifications for structural engineers, design professionals and building officials to conduct initial structure assessments following natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods. Assessments are conducted as part of a single or multi-discipline teams that may also involve first responders such as medical, police and fire. 

Individuals who receive this training will have the opportunity to become part of the SEAoA's Structural Engineers Emergency Response (SEER) Team that is occasionally called upon by local, state, and federal officials to assist in the response to natural disasters or other incidents where evaluation of structures is necessary.  

Program includes publication materials, breakfast and lunch

This program also qualifies for 6.0 Professional Development Hours (PDH)

Register before June 1st  $75 for SEAoA members and $100 for non-members

(after June 1st $125 per person)
