CALLING ALL ENGINEERS!

We have been presented with an exciting opportunity to volunteer at the Arizona Science Center and teach elementary school students about structural engineering.  At this volunteer event we will be hosting an activity allowing students to build a tower out of marshmallows while teaching them the basic principles of structural design!  And best of all volunteers will have the opportunity to explore the science center after their volunteer shift is complete.   The event will take place from 9 am to 3 pm on February 27, 2016 at the Arizona Science Center, the plan is to have (3) sets of volunteers each serving for a period of 2 hours, the first shift will be from 9 am to 11AM, the second shift from 11AM to 1PM and third from 1PM to 3PM.  This is great opportunity to inspire young students to explore the exciting realms of math and science. For more information on this event check out the following link eweek-phx.org/azscience.html.
